Dr. Jim Hailey
Dr. Jim Hailey is a graduate of Colorado State University's College of Veterinary Medicine and BioMedical Sciences, a lifetime member of the Colorado Veterinary Association, a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, and AAHA. He is a published author on minimally invasive surgery and has taught laparoscopic surgery across the U.S. and many foreign countries.
Dr. Hailey has practiced in the Denver area since 1972. He moved to Granby in 2003, while commuting to Littleton weekly to work. In 2010 he sold his practice and retired, but began to miss the pets and people, so decided to open another practice. He retained much of the digital equipment from his previous practice and is excited to utilize it in the enhancement of the care of Grand County's pets.
Dr. Hailey enjoys the mountain life with his wife Judy and Amber, his golden retriever. He is very active in his church and spends his free time clearing trees in the summer and skiing in the winter with Judy and their grandchildren.
Dr. Carrie Nedele
Carrie grew up in the small town of Angola, Indiana and at age 8, she discovered her love of animals when she leased a horse from the local veterinarian. In the summer of 2000 she worked for a veterinarian on a guest/cattle ranch in northeastern Washington and spent many summers working and caring for zoo animals at Fun Spot Amusement Park and Zoo. After graduating from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business in 2003, Carrie moved to Lake Tahoe and started working in the business field. Realizing that business was not the right career choice, she decided to go back to school to be a veterinarian. Pursuing her heart, Carrie graduated from Purdue University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in May of 2013.
In her free time, Carrie enjoys hiking with her Bernese Mountain Dog, “Louie”, and a variety of snow and water sports.
Kim Huntington, Certified Veterinary Technician
